Other than the fact that they're console RPGs, they're not related in anyway.

So they just happen to have a similar name? I'm asking due to some people thing Pandora's Tower may or may not be tied to them.

Anyway, are these games worth picking up? the only Playstation/PS2 games I have are Dragon Warrior/Quest VII and VIII.

Meh, People need to leave "The Lounge" more often. Also since Nintendo owns Monolith Soft now you could say it's a Nintendo series now.
