Card Translation
« on: April 13, 2011, 10:07:50 PM »
A few people here speak Japanese, so can anyone offer a translation of this card? We don't know what the name of the bugs would be translated to English (since they don't have a Piklopedia entry) and we don't know any other info about than is found while encountering them in-game (also due to the lack of a Piklopedia entry). A translation of all info on the card would be preferred.
Edit: Also, the name and maybe some other words might be a play on other words, if there is such an instance, please explain it when you get to it in the translation.

I know that eventually Nookipedia will need one of these translators on speed dial, but not yet.

So much kanji  T_T

Well I can't translate most of this, but here's my minuscule contribution:

The card title reads "?????" ("Ujadani" - "dani" means "tick" or "mite").  The first line (before the kanji kicks in) reads "??????????", which, according to Google, means, "The mites are everywhere." Not that I trust Google Translate by any means.  :P

Someone more knowledgeable will have to fill in the rest. Hope that helps. Somewhat. I tried Googling those phrases together in the hopes of finding the card written out with the kanji so I could throw it into a translator but couldn't find anything.

So I've found a means to translate the kanji as long as I can make out the approximate stroke count, but it's quite difficult in this image because of its low resolution. I'll keep at it, but if anyone can find a higher resolution image that would be dance worthy.  :eekdance:

Yeah, I found a similar tool. We really need a native speaker, who can read around the distorted kanji. If we had a higher resolution image with legible kanji, I could probably translate it.
