My History with Video Games

I got my first video game system when I was 5 years old, in 2002. I went to my local video rental store to get a movie, when I saw all those Nintendo 64 games. I loved the Powerpuff Girls when I was a little girl, and I found out there was a game. I asked my Mom to get it, but she told me I didn't have a Nintendo 64. Later at home, my Mom said she would buy me a 64 if I learned to tie my shoes. I tied it about 70 times that night. A few days later, there was a Nintendo 64, right in front of the door! I loved it soooo much, and I always rented games. I rented that one Powerpuff Girls game, and it sucked. But I always played it. But then, in 2003, I went to the rental store, and there were no more games. I was pretty upset, but then I learned about the GameCube.

I have more than 30 games for the GameCube. I also own a bunch of other games and systems, including a DS Lite, PlayStation 2, Wii, Gameboy Advance, Xbox 360, PSP, and even a busted NES.

Trivia

  • The first game I ever owned was Hey You, Pikachu!
  • I am always on the internet, and I sometimes wonder if I have a life.
  • I am a fan of anime and manga, and first learned about it when I was 8 years old. My favorite anime include Air, Cardcaptor Sakura, Toradora!, and although I haven't watched the anime yet, I enjoy the light novels of The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya.
  • My favorite video genres are platformer, action, adventure, arcade, and FPS.
  • Although I didn't grow up in that time, I love the 80's and retro games.
