The Cross-Wiki Week is an annual event hosted by the [http://niwanetwork.org/ Nintendo Independent Wiki Alliance] (NIWA), held to celebrate [[Nintendo]]'s birthday. The purpose of the event is to promote cooperation by inviting editors to contribute to wikis they don't regularly edit. At the end of the event, two winners will receive a $20/€20 Nintendo eShop gift card for participating! The 2023 Cross-Wiki Week will take place from Saturday, 23 September, to Sunday, 1 October. New for 2023: When saving an edit, add #cww to your edit summary to be counted for the event.

Several requested tasks:
- Several playable characters in Fire Emblem Heroes need to have their Heroes artwork added to their pages.
- Consider expanding pages that are marked as stubs. In particular, many characters' pages here will need information on their role in their game's story, or their personality.
- Add and expand on plot summaries, development info, etc. on game articles.
- Check the list of images needing improvement; if you can improve them, please do so.
- Add some documentation to our templates.
- Add info for Fire Emblem Warriors: Three Hopes.

- Our villager pages could use house descriptions. At the top of villager house sections, add a description describing common themes and changes to the villager's house throughout the series. Examples available on Eunice and Alfonso.
- Add "Appearance" sections to our New Horizons wallpaper and floor pages to describe what they look like. Example at Underwater Wall. Screenshots of all walls and floors located here and here, respectively.
- Restructure and populate our fossil pages with info for Animal Crossing, Wild World, City Folk, and New Leaf using our new fossil info templates. Our New Horizons info is already complete - see Brachiosaurus for an example for how to replicate.
- Work on our Pocket Camp coverage; visit Project Pocket Camp for more info. Coverage needed includes Gyroidite Scavenger Events, fortune cookie sets, Happy Homeroom puzzles, and memories.
- Our merchandise coverage needs lots of expansion! Help expand our existing lists and create new ones.

Wars Wiki
Some requested tasks:
- Uniform page layouts and formatting, especially with layout of text and linking to other pages.
- Update information and content for any Commanding Officers.
- Create pages for the Advanced Campaign game modes.
- Many of the latter missions in List of Missions in Advance Wars: Days of Ruin need completed, and the Trial Maps are missing virtually all crucial information.
- Many of the missions of the Battalion Wars Campaign could use screenshots of the game.
- Nintendo Power (cartridge writing service) is a unique page that seems to not be otherwise well-documented. It may be useful to flesh it out more.
- Any help for the Game Boy Wars series.

- There are over 100 pages that could use more images (some only need a screenshot or two). Check this category for a list of pages that need images.
- Particularly needed are screenshots from Kirby Mass Attack.
- There are a couple famous paintings on the Royal Acadddemy of Arts page that have not yet been identified.
- Glitches pages need to be made/expanded.
- Sourcing files that don't have them. Check Category:Files lacking sources and its subcategories for details. Make sure not to use other wikis as sources, unless those wikis list a proper source for the file in question.
