Noughts & Crosses (Tic Tac Toe) is a Super Nintendo Entertainment System game. The game is based on the traditional noughts & crosses (tic-tac-toe) concept, and did not have a standard release.

Instead, the game was released for Nintendo Gateway System hotel services as part of the Nintendo/LodgeNet partnership.[citation needed]

Gameplay

The player plays on a 3D tic tac toe board as X, and the computer plays as O. A loss or tie causes the player to lose one life, and five wins are needed to progress to the next level. There is a time limit as well.

There are three playable characters corresponding to different difficulties. Shell Slacker the turtle has 12 lives (Easy difficulty), Purr Gurina the cat has 10 lives (Medium difficulty) and Don Que Hooty the owl has 8 lives (Hard difficulty).
