What's happening at Nintendo & NIWA
- December 3, 2015 - The Nintendo Account service is launched in Japan.
- November 24, 2015 - The Wii U GamePad was officially released as an individual product in Japan.
- November 13, 2015 - In the latest Nintendo Direct, Nintendo revealed The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess HD, to be released in March 2016, and revealed that The Legend of Zelda for Wii U would also be released in 2016. New content for Splatoon was unveiled to be part of an update released on December 2. Star Fox Zero was revealed to be released in April 2016. In North America, Mario & Luigi: Paper Jam was revealed to be released in January 2016. Both versions of Fire Emblem Fates were revealed to be released in February 2016 outside Japan. Hyrule Warriors Legends was revealed to be released worldwide in March 2016. Pokémon Picross was revealed and will launch in early December, while Pokkén Tournament will launch in Spring 2016. In North America and Europe, Dragon Quest VII: Fragments of the Forgotten Past and Dragon Quest VIII: Journey of the Cursed King for Nintendo 3DS were announced to be released by Nintendo in those regions in 2016. In the Japanese Nintendo Direct, Mother 3 was revealed to be released on Wii U Virtual Console in December 2015, while Pokémon Red, Blue, and Yellow Versions were revealed to be released for the rest of the world on Nintendo 3DS for February 2016. Finally, Cloud Strife was revealed as a new playable character in Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS and Wii U, and a Super Smash Bros. presentation was confirmed for December.
- October 28, 2015 - During Nintendo's investors' strategy briefing, Nintendo have announced their first smartphone title, Miitomo, that will launch next year, as one of five titles that will launch by March 2017. Nintendo have also announced their new cross-platform membership program, My Nintendo, to succeed Club Nintendo.
- October 16, 2015 - Nintendo of Europe have re-released eight Nintendo 3DS games as part of the Nintendo Selects line.
