I'm returning, but not to wiki editing as you may know it.  (I think that's return number 3 or 4)

I am close to graduating high school, and therefore no longer under the obvious stress.  I care enough about the NIWA to want to help it, but no longer am interested in wiki editing.  I will be using my time on the forums, instead.  If anything, I'll just use the forums the way most staff did, or still do, as they did in the past: to monitor the NIWA.  I'll be as helpful as I can on the forums, which includes answering questions related to wikis and NIWA.  But once again, I will not actually do any editing.

I am sorry for not aiding in staff matters, but, (and I hope you don't think of this as a lousy excuse), I didn't feel I had the right to since I'm no longer staff.

I'll be upfront: I am losing interest in NIWA again.  Editing Zelda Wiki, WiKirby, and a little of Wars Wiki was fun, but now I don't see why I should do it anymore.  The friends I met I will continue to keep-in-touch with, but I can't make myself do this anymore.

I originally started out of fascination, and to get a hobby... but now I'm sick of it.  Perhaps it's the continuous task of writing, which I never liked, unless it was about something like sparked interest.  Even now, that interest is fading.

Another reason which may be causing this is that I'm turning 18, and so don't want to waste time until I get school over with, college started, a job started, etc.

I don't want the replies to be cry-cry, sad-sad -posts, since I dislike the attention... but I also don't want to just vanish off the face of the internet.

I also do not know, but perhaps it is because of the gif's length?

My computer is being fixed, so I'm limited to using the Wii and PS3.  This means I can't use Skype.  So, if you want to contact me, please do so via my NIWA forum userpage/email and/or my Yahoo email: [email protected].

It's really not appropriate for little kids to see, though... Shouldn't this forum be appropriate for everyone?

If you think a rule is being broken, please report via PM or via the forum link instead of derailing threads about an issue.

Only 34 more days until I'm done with school!

If you want a copy, ask an admin on the forums via PM.  I don't have the necessary permission to show the public something in the staff forums

Axiomist made a road map/launch strategy guide on how to start a wiki, and get it ready for NIWA membership.  But, it's in the staff section of the forums.  (Supposingly, anyone who wanted to harm the NIWA could use this to their advantage... or something.)

NIWA Discussion / Re: Suggestions

I think spoiler tags were added later.

When will we get more "Change your display name" in stock? and what's the difference between "Change User Title" and "Change your display name"?

Your user title is the text which is directly under your username.  Your display name is the name everyone sees your username as.  I.e., I have the username "Austin", which I use to log in, but everyone sees it as "Member #36" (my dispay name.)

'nuff said

I actually like some of the nightmarish-stuff they show.  It's what makes the show so different when compared to other stuff like Jonny Bravo and Dexter's lab.  (Not to go further into a discussion about it.)

Just to let you all know, I am WiKirby's new PR (public representative).  If you want to get involved somehow with WiKirby (affiliate, etc.), then I am the guy to talk to.  :)

I may be a party-pooper, but I don't see the relevance.  If you, personally, want to ask someone what you should get for your birthday, that's fine.  But, I don't see why others should ask now seeing as how their birthday is several months away.

In my opinion, this thread is like saying "Merry Christmas" in the middle of July...

I have an old fashion Verizon flip phone (not touch) from 2006/2007.  It does what I need it to.

The staff is currently in the process of formally reviewing Fire Emblem Wiki.info.  Once the said review has been completed, we will inform you.  The results will be given to you most likely through personal contact, though, this I cannot promise.  If another way is decided upon, you will know of it beforehand and during the forwarding.

I think Kaiba shouldn't be banned. Although he really crossed the line, It was because of what I said. If anyone is to be banned it is me..

A noble gesture, but I said may, not is.  Wiki staff cannot ban members, however, I'm sure the rest of the staff is aware of Kaiba's behavior.  Now, drop the subject, and everything related to it.

Speaking of the taffy, it's more like a Jolly Rancher unless you suck on it first.  :(  I blame the recipe.

Anyways, I made some painted chocolates today.  ...I hate them, as the coloring didn't stay within the space, causing it to look blobby.  I also made taffy, which was slighty better.

It seems that the issue has been taken care of.

Have you added the extension to where a user must answer a question before saving the edit?

No way, Axiomist died?!  He was one of my best friends on the internet.  The NIWA is going to be very different without him.  The last thing he said to me was that he was going to go for another trip since that's part of his job.  I simply cannot comprehend this right now.  To think, I will never be able to laugh with him again about the band that "stole his name."

Axiomist, I will miss you.  You were a great friend, and a loyal wiki editor.  Farewell Joshua "Ax The Axe" LeJeune.
