According to 2010 patents linked with Goro Abe of Nintendo, there may have been plans for a Wii Vitality Sensor game that would have a minigame similar to the WarioWare series.[1]

The Wii Vitality Sensor was never released, nor was this game. Although elements from the Wii Vitality Sensor were reused for Ring Fit Adventure, it is unknown how many gameplay elements from these patents made it into a later released game.

Since Goro Abe worked on the WarioWare series there is also the possibility that some elements were mockups not intended to be part of the game.
