Become the Pokémon master! Find out everything you want to know about your favourite Pokémon and see them in 3D with the new Pokédex 3D Pro!
Gameplay
Unlike the original game, Pokédex 3D Pro is a Pokédex (encyclopedia) of all 649 Pokémon through Pokémon Generations I-V including Meloetta and Genesect, and this includes the alternative forms of Pokémon such as Black Kyurem and White Kyurem. These Pokémon with the exception of Meloetta and Genesect (unlike Pokédex 3D) are available from the start.
As before, the Pokédex contains lots of data about each Pokémon and an AR viewer. Players can now keep track of photographs taken of Pokémon, and listen to voiced narrations of the Pokémon's names each time and entry is viewed. There are now Pokémon-themed quizzes in the software.
Meloetta and Genesect, as well as their special moves Relic Song and Techno Blast, must be unlocked through special quizzes available with a password that differs between the Japanese and English versions (not the selected 3DS or game language but based on the region of the Nintendo eShop).
