Pokémon Diamond Version and Pokémon Pearl Version are the first Pokémon games of Generation IV.

Prior to the official retail release, an English kiosk demo of the game was available to the public at GDC 2007, stores, during promotion but not to own. The player may only explore Route 203 for ten minutes with a pre-set team.
